![]() This is the LEAST of my woes when it comes to importing models though. So I had to fudge this out by grabbing some hull texture and half-assing a bit of aztecking and hull plates unterneath of the nameplate material texture in GIMP. In this case, the 'decal' material was read on import, and it layered ontop of the hull opaquely-not transparently. Take this LWO Enterprise model from Sketchfab: ( ) ![]() Unfortunately, there's a huge gamut of 3d formats out there, many don't import at all, and with many others things get a little wonky.
